some articles I read today

I just read a couple new article on WebMD in their Fibromyalgia Health Center called

Fibromyalgia and Diet   Will changing your diet help you cope with fibromyalgia?

This article talks about ways to modify your diet to help with improving symptoms of pain and fatigue.  The author talks about how little research has been done on this and gives tips on how to test yourself with different foods and even suggests allergy treatment.  Short article and worth the read!

Savella for Fibromyalgia Treatment

Interesting article about Savella...I have been taking it for 2 years now and I really can't tell whether it is doing anything now or not.  I really didn't notice a difference when I started taking it except I wasn't a depressed as I had been.  My pain is about the same as it always was and I have actually been thinking about quitting it due to having some of the side effects they list.  I have friends that have taken it and LOVE! how it has helped them with their symptoms.

Fibromyalgia in Children and Teens

I thought it was horrible enough being diagnosed with this disorder at 58 years of age and when I think of this kids with fibro it makes my heart cry!  So young and so limited in what they can and can not do.

I enjoyed reading these articles...short and sweet!

I'm always interested to hear of new things, one I heard/read was the artificial sweetener Aspartame found in so many things including squash which I drink a lot of. SO I've found squash without it and along with new meds I have found a difference. Coincidence maybe but anything that helps is good I reckon! Zo xx

Have you ever tried using a chiropractor? I recently read online that it seems to work for a lot of people. I've been suffering with fibro for years now and I am willing to do about anything for relief!!
